intu Trafford Centre:
Home Couture
intu Trafford Centre is synonymous with high end brands. That applies as much to homeware as much as clothing. Barton Square is a separate and dedicated area within the centre and is the focal point of homeware as well as over 40 Roman statues and columns, a spectacular fountain and marble as far as the eye can see.
I kept the high end designer feel prominent, within intu brand guidelines, and used models in a similar way to a high end fashion campaign. However, they were dressed and styled in bedsheets and throws for dresses, lampshades for hats, cutlery for jewellery, kettles for handbags and. I surrounded the models with statues and furniture from within Barton Square and indeed the rest of the centre.
intu Trafford Centre:
Brand Bravado
Anybody who has ever been to intu Trafford Centre will know just how lavish it is, it’s a truly unique architectural experience just outside of Manchester but no matter how incredible the place is, it still has big competition, not just from Manchester City Centre itself but also from the likes of Liverpool One which has a similar offer.
Trafford Centre wanted to tell everyone about the centre’s high-end hidden labels. I allied the hidden high-end / designer brands from within the bigger stores like Selfridges and John Lewis, together with some of the unique architectural elements from around the centre.
intu Trafford Centre:
Exposed
In the same way that Brand Bravado worked for the very high end brands, Trafford Centre followed up the next year with Exposed, a wider ranging campaign that did the same job for fashion, home, beauty and dining.
