Manchester Arndale:
The centre of the city.

I started work on Arndale after the terrible bombing in 1996 when the centre needed to be rebuilt and reaffirm their standing within Manchester. I helped create a ‘Come Together’ campaign that helped unite the city after such devastation.

Manchester Arndale was then established as the beating heart of the city, placing them ahead of rival stores like the neighbouring Selfridges and indeed out of town shopping centres in the shape of the very successful Trafford Centre.

I gave the centre a unique edge and presence around the city and the ‘Centre Of The City’ campaign is still in existence today in one form or another. Other centres were envious of their new edgy look and positioning within Manchester, in time I’d work for them too.
